What we carry
Everything you need to decorate your home, gathered under one roof and restyled with the seasons.

Rugs, window treatments, lamps and shades, quilts, and table linens in country, colonial, and primitive styles.

Scented candles — including the beloved 1803 brand whose aroma draws people in from the sidewalk — alongside soaps and rosehips.

A curated collection of primitive, colonial, americana, and antique pieces that lend a home warmth and history.

Locally made furniture and quirky hand-lettered signs to personalize any room.

Colonial Colors Paints in the shop, to carry the same warm palette onto your own walls and furniture.

Rotating wreaths and seasonal arrangements, so there is always something new to discover.
You'll smell it before you see it.
The 1803 candles are the best-smelling in the area — their aroma drifts out the door and onto the brick, and follows people home.
Our story
The Cin~a~mon Stik has anchored the corner of 1st Street and Avenue B since 1992. When the original owners retired, MaraLee Gibson — who already ran The Country Cupboard — bought the beloved shop in April 2011 and merged both stores into one.
Two complementary shops became a single Primitive Colonial Dreamscape: furniture, rugs, draperies, lamps, quilts, candles, paints, and much more, all under one roof.
More than thirty years on, it is still the kind of place where you walk in to look and walk out having discovered something you did not know you were after.

I always loved the Cin-a-mon-stik. Quite a few of the things in my home were "discovered" there.
